How to work more efficiently with DocuSign

How many times have you had to mail/email real estate contracts and other documents across the state or even across the country to get signatures and/or initials from your clients?  It even becomes more difficult when you have multiple clients that need to sign and they don’t live in the same area!

This how many REALTORS® deal with out of town clients;

  • First he mails the documents to the first clients
  • They send it back to him a few days later
  • Then he mails it to the second client
  • They send it back to him a few weeks later
  • Then the closing date changes and the process starts again with an amendment!

How much did this cost in postage/shipping/overnight fees and how long did it take?  If this REALTOR® sent these documents in this sample scenario with an overnight speedy delivery company, they would have spent near if not over $100 and it would have taken almost a full week.

If the REALTOR® had simply used an electronic document signature solution like DocuSign he could have spent nothing or a minimal amount and had the fully executed documents back in his hands within the hour!

But, are they legal?
